This documentary film series explores the impact of the Bible on Western civilization and the American political order. Why Italy? It is almost impossible to overstate Italy’s role in the formation of our civilization. In politics, philosophy, science, literature, art, music, religion—and food—the Italians reached heights of human achievement that laid the foundation for the most dynamic and consequential civilization in human history. And behind many of these achievements was the Christian faith. Yet this crucial aspect of the story of our civilization is often left untold: We intend to tell it.
